3rd time not the charm
Thought I would update everyone just had my 3rd L-5 S-1 Laminectomy/radiculapathy. And worse pain ever.. I am 3 weeks post op and my surgeon doesn't know what to do he feels really bad considering i am 38 and live on pain pills to do normal things like walk and go to the store spend time with my kids... I go back in 6 weeks for anothe MRI I told my doctor no more surgeries I just can't now I have permanate nerve damage in my left leg from my knee to the tip of my toes can't more my ankle ... Please help...Question about multiple microdiscectomies
I am a week and a half post op from my first microdiscectomy. I am able to get in and out of bed easier but I am never with out pain. Three days ago my leg pain came back and feel like it is a set back. The numbness is constant in my right leg and foot. I am using a cain for support and balance. My doctor gave me no stretches or excerises to do just instructions to walk. I just read a blog about someone on here that has had multiple micros because the same disk kept herniating and it's the same ... Full Blog

Gosh, reading everyones blogs on here makes me feel like I don't even compare to what any of you guys are!!
I've been dealing with sciatica since November last year. I'm 27 years old with 3 children.And I feel like my life has come to a halt. Dealing with back pain,has been a pain in the ass..literally!!!lol

Anyone who had microdiscetomy??
My doctor is recommending a microdiscetomy, I need to know how the procedure works, how long it takes and how long the healing process is and last but not least...if it's painful??? Does it work or a waste of my time???

upper spine
dealing with abnormal mri, showing space lesions at t5, t10 and trouble at t4. possible hemangioma with soft protrusion at t5 involving the pedicle and the cortex is dehiscent. any body know what this means. seeing a specialist next week. would like to hear from t7hemangioma, think we might have a similar problem. The person that read my mri report think this is maybe hemangiomas, need advice
